Refund policy

1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you’re entitled to a remedy if the goods you purchase are faulty, significantly different to sample or description, or do not do what we said they would.

2. Change-of-Mind Returns
If you change your mind, you may return unused, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for store credit only. Items must be in original condition and packaging. Return postage is at your cost. (We cannot offer refunds for change-of-mind returns.)

3. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or you receive the wrong item, we will gladly provide a full refund, repair, or replacement (our choice) provided you:

1. Contact us within 7 days of receipt.

2. Supply your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos.

3. Return the item in its original packaging (we will reimburse reasonable return-postage costs).

4. How to Initiate a Return

1. Email hello@basicsalonaccessories.com with your order number and reason for return.

2. We’ll reply within 2 business days with a Return Authorization and instructions.

3. Pack your item securely (include your order confirmation), and ship to the address below.

4. Once we inspect and approve your return, we’ll process your store credit or refund.

5. Refund Processing
• Faulty/Damaged/Incorrect: Funds will be returned to your original payment method within 5 business days of approval.
• Store Credit (Change-of-Mind): A digital gift card for the item value will be emailed within 5 business days of approval.

6. Exclusions & Exceptions
We cannot accept returns for:
• Items showing signs of use, wear, or damage caused by you
• Custom or made-to-order kits
• Hygiene-sensitive items once opened (e.g. aprons after use)
